Winter Learning Opportunities in Our Wider Community
While the Servant Leadership School is being reshaped and revitalized this winter, we wanted to let you know about some of the other opportunities in our community to deepen your discipleship journey:
Eighth Day Faith Community’s School of Christian Living is offering an Old Testament overview course that draws from the book What Does the Lord Require? The Old Testament Call to Social Witness by Bruce C. Birch. The eight-week class will be held on Sundays at 8:45 – 10:15am from January 22 to March 11. Click here for details.
Seekers Church’s School of Christian Living has two upcoming courses: Prayer – Why and How we Pray and Seekers as a Welcoming Community. Both courses will run for six weeks and be held on Tuesdays at 7:45pm from February 7 to March 13. Click here for details.

The Festival Center Affirms a Bold New Vision for the Servant Leadership School
Dear brothers and sisters,
I want to share with you some great news. This past week The Festival Center board of directors affirmed a bold new vision and mission for its flagship program the Servant Leadership School. Rooted in the core themes of The Church of the Saviour and responsive to our contemporary world, we trust that it will be generative of faithfulness on into the future.
In the coming weeks we will be meeting with our community stakeholders to shape the coming spring term. Perhaps fittingly, we will launch the revitalized School during Holy Week.
We are deeply excited for the direction God is calling us as a School in this coming season and remain grateful for your continued support!
